PUBLISHER & EDITOR’S CORNER

BY ROSANNE CATALANO

Hello dear readers! Welcome all new members! Wow, I can’t believe it’s already Thanksgiving! Where does the time go?! For those who celebrate Thanksgiving in November, may you have a wonderful Holiday with family and friends! I know I am looking forward to sitting down to a delicious meal this month, cooked by my mother-in-law; with me, my sister-in-law and her mother bringing dishes along too. So far, this has been quite a busy month! Although I will not be seeing my family, who live in Florida and New Jersey, for Thanksgiving this year, my husband and I will be calling to let them know we’re there in spirit… I must tell my Canadian readers that I’m so sorry for neglecting to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving last month!  I only found out recently that it was October 8th; on my calendar it said only that it was Columbus Day in America for that day. Sorry! But I pray that my Canadian readers did have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends.

I also hope you enjoyed reading my author interview last monthJ I have to tell you that my mom emailed the day my interview began appearing on Tannia’s “Time With Tannia” web site, telling me that she really enjoyed reading my author interview and that I sounded great. Also, my sister, who is not really a reader, loved and enjoyed my book “Mirrored Images”! I also received many nice, complimentary comments through Tannia’s web site; for which I sincerely thank those who wrote into Tannia’s site! You can even check out the upcoming author interviews of two of my writers – Trisha Martin and Leon Basin. Of course their interviews will not be on “Time With Tannia’s” site until sometime next year, but I will keep you informed of when Trisha’s and Leon’s author interviews will be appearing on her web site. My author interview with Tannia is now in her web site’s archives and on this site’s Home page.

Updated info from my interview: Although I would have loved a publication date of December 2007, I am still working on finishing up my third book “Mirrored Images [2].” Not sure if you know that “Mirrored Images [2]” will be my first fiction novel rather than a collection of my nonfiction & fiction stories and poems as “Mirrored Images” is. Although the title of my next book is so far remaining “Mirrored Images [2]”, I had also thought about titling it “Split Moment in Time”. What do you think? Should I keep it “Mirrored Images [2],” or name it “Split Moment in Time” instead? I would love to hear your thoughts on this! I feel as if I’m naming a baby and that it’s a toss-up between two names I like, lol, so I would love your help on this! I do realize, however, that all of my books and other works of mine are my creations therefore they are my babies in a wayJ.

I would like to reiterate what my current book “Mirrored Images” is all about for those who have already read it, or have not read it yet…

Concerning my book “Mirrored Images”: It has come to my attention that some of my readers may not understand a couple of the nonfiction stories in my current book “Mirrored Images”. What it should have said in Mirrored Images’ book description is that some of my nonfiction stories were written so that even if bad things happen in your life, you know that you can survive them, as I did, with faith.  Faith that Jesus and our heavenly Father will walk with you through it all. None of my nonfiction story articles were meant for you to feel sorry for me or for you to think I have not gotten over the bad things that happened. Believe me I have. My nonfiction stories were written to let those who are going through bad times know that Jesus walks with them, and that He will help you survive through the awful times in your life. You are not alone and you never will be. Please remember this always…

I would love to tell you again about the Bookvideos.tv website, which I highly recommend! Bookvideos.tv is a wonderful new web site which is brought to you by “TurnHere Producers” of New York City, and is sponsored by “Simon & Schuster Publishing”, also of New York City. Their site brings authors’ of books alive in audio-video for you and is similar to watching TV. It is definitely a website you’ve got to see! I myself marvel at being able to hear and see the author of a book tell me what their book is all about! So again, I highly recommend this web site because I know you’re going to love it as much as I do. Just click on the Bookvideos.tv link above that I provided for easy access and enjoy all the great author videos! Don’t forget to tell all of your family and friends to visit this website too; I assure you that even if they are not authors or writers they will love it also!
