Solitary Child, why is it you cry?

My mother has left me without saying why.

I sit in the darkness so no one can see,

Cause maybe they all just forgot about me.

 

 

The feelings that came from inside of me then,

are with me forever, though I was just ten.

Loneliness, rejection, now how can this be?

When I know the first age I felt this was three.

 

 

I became an old lady before I was four,

the night when my grandfather came through the door.

He took away my innocence and left me so cold,
